I think I read somewhere that the NTSB report stated probable cause as
pilot's lack of judgement (i.e. gottagettoaurinalittis), with contributing
factors being failure to do a proper preflight, and overfull pilot bladder
placing c.g. outside approved limits.

I really liked the end it it!!

cheers

So, what's not to get about the pilot drinking coffee while others do
all the work? G

That's the point: the mechanic works his tail off most of the
time while the pilot stands around, taking it easy and drinking
coffee. And then the pilot abuses the airplane, making more
unnecessary work for the mechanic.
But the pilot often gets to stay away from home a lot, while
the mechanic goes home every night.

Oh, I got the point...that's why my post quoted below had the snickering
faces But I disagree a bit about creating "unnecessary" work for the
mechanic...it is necessary work if the mechanic wants to eat and feed
the family he goes home to every night

Did anyone notice that the pilot is often standing where the mechanic
needs to put something? Or how about how the mechanic drops everything
he's doing to nuke the coffee? G

No i missed that!

I gues I don't do that at work. I actually get out of their way and make my
own coffee when they're messing around in the cockpit. Obviously I have a
lot to learn from educational videos like this.

The pilot's theme song is pretty similar to what you hear in the crew room,
though.
