Default Vision Microsystem being killed by JPI?

I placed an order for a 6 cylinder VM1000C last July. I didn't realize
that JPI was buying Vision at that time. I was told to expect it in 2
months, which was OK. In 2.5 months when I hadn't heard a word I called
and got a message to call a number in Texas? I called that number and
was told Vision had been bought, moved to Texas and I should expect a 2
month delay on delivery. Hmmm... I did have other things to do but I
was all set to start installing it. My panel is cut out already for the
Vision and I have Vision fuel probes installed in fiberglass wings(not
easy to change).

I was then subjected to a "it will be another month" on my monthly call
for 4 months. THey never have initiated a call to let me know my
delivery will be delayed. I just called them this morning on the texas
number and got a recording, no humans to answer the phone? It says to
call a number in San Diego which I did, which is also an answering
machine. This is sounding very ominous.

You think JPI bought Vision Microsystems to just kill the competition?
I worked for a company that Microsoft did just that.

Anybody actually receive a VM engine monitor from JPI in the last 6
months? Was it a VM1000C?

JPI is still running ads for the VM1000C which say clearly, "In stock,
shipping now".

If you have prepaid for the unit now is the time to file a formal
complaint of interstate fraud with the Attorney General of the USA...

FTC too, maybe, and the attorney generals of your state and the states
of JPI and Vision?

Buyer doesn't say he's paid JPI any money, but he sure has relied on
their promises to his detriment if they don't deliver.
