Default Ever wanted to try a Contest?

The annual Dust-Up event is just a few weeks away, but we still have
space left for a few more pilots!

Have you ever thought about entering a Soaring Contest, but have been
afraid to try?
Feel intimidated by a full contest, or feel that you cannot take an
entire week off work to go fly?
Want to get a taste of contest tasks without the same pressure?
Would you like to have experts on-hand for advice and teaching?
How about having nightly seminars to learn how to fly faster and
better?

If you answered "yes" to any of those items, then check out http://www.dustup.org

As I've posted before, The Seattle Glider Council Soaring Foundation
is holding the 3rd Annual "Dust Up" event over Memorial Day weekend.
This unique 3-day event emulates a low-key Sports Class contest, while
providing added support and educational opportunities for newcomers.
Experienced contest pilots are also welcome to attend, and for the
first time we will be providing an advanced set of tasks for those who
have flown in contests before.

More information - including registration forms, online seminars, and
a guide to
the area - are located at http://www.dustup.org

Enjoy, and we hope to see you there!

Hey all,
This is really a neat contest. What an opportunity to learn.
I am a total newbie re Contests; and have done DustUp with a friend in
a DG-1000 (yes, I know am spoiled!) for 2 years.
All the help you might want is right there.
No real pressure, other than having to follow a contest plan and
process. (Actually, with all the help, you get pulled through it, and
it really becomes a no-issue)
And then you get to fly and compare your actions and results against
others. What a deal!
Great fun!
Heinz
