do i need a IA or AP to sign off on a Slick mag change out on one side?
On a certified Cessna?

Just the P will do. No need of an IA for a simple replacement. I'm
presuming the Slick mag is listed on the type sheet for the engine?

Default O.T-- A & P or I.A. for Magneto

Thanks guys! the guy who Removed & Replaced the left mag is an AP not
IA and the new Slick mag was the same part number but not sure about
being on a list.

I should check since the guy who wants to buy it back is a FSDO safety
inspector.
