Default F-4: (Question)

I live next to Aviano USAF base in North Italy and I don't see greek or
turkish F4 since long time.
Again, last summer I was in holiday on many greek isles and I saw overflying
F16 only.


Phantom operators were/are :
Australia (ret),
Egypt (cur),
Germany (cur),
Korea (cur),
Greece (cur),
Iran (cur),
Israel (ret),
Japan (cur),
Spain (ret),
Turkey (cur),
UK (ret),
USA (ret).

thank you so much Rogue

I was staying up the road from the base whilst travelling back from Finland
to the uk on my mbike. I had a pleasant time around the area and was
surprised to pull up at a junction next to a Phantom gateguard with
Richthofen squadron markings. I then went to find the base and rode up to
the main gate and got surrounded by guards . All was fine when i explained i
was from UK and was a Phantom nut . The officer in charge of the watch came
and chatted with me then
