YAHQ- Any PIREPS on "in ear" PNR headsets?
Yes, another headset question!
Has anyone had a chance to use Clarity Aloft's headset (www.clarityaloft.com) or the new lightspeed Lightflight L1 (http://www.anrheadsets.com/productsL1.asp) by chance? I'm curious about these new in ear style passive noise reduction headsets as they seem to offer several advantages: -Lightweight -less bulky, both on head and in flightbag -no batteries ....and disadvantages: -cost -foam tips need regular replacement -not as durable as my H10-13X Is anyone here using these types of headset? |

Nope, but I wonder about the ear canal becoming painful very quickly...
As a ham radio operator I often use an ear plug head set under a standard head set so that I can listen to two radios simultaneously... If find an hour is about my limit with the ear plug speaker due to discomfort... Denny |
