Default Becker AR3201

Hi to all.
I'm electronic technician and i start to repair some equipments for gliders and planes. So i have a problem with a Becker AR3201. The problem is when you press the PTT to talk or you receive a signal you hear at the headset or at the speakers a noise like the noise from alternator. I try to install a power line filter but without any success. I try with the engine not running (only with the battery) and the problem is still presents.
Any idea what happen ???
Thanks for any help.

I know next to nothing about radios, but could it be that the squelch needs
turning down? On the 3201 there is an adjustment screw that you get at
through the lowest of 3 holes in the RH side of the casing.

Check your grounding. Noise in radios is generally caused by poor grounding paths. Run a separate lead from the radio ground to the negative of the battery. If it clears it up then you should troubleshoot the grounding lead. Good luck.

Yea i start first with the grounds and for any broken joints.
I place the unit on my desk and checking with a microscope for any damage.
