What is the meaning of the multiple numbers in the 18m task distance? We didn't have that in my day.

Hey Bruce,

It is what they call an AAT ( assigned Area Task)
Similar to a normal task, but with bigger turnpoint circles and the pilots are given a minimum time they are supposed to fly. (if you fly less you get scored to the minimum time anyway)
If you take the minimum and maximum possible distances you get the 2 values, and if you work it out like a std racing task you get the figure in the brackets.

Shame NZ doesn't have a task like this, but I do understand the difficulties with it where we are.
