It is a De-haviland Caribou (CH5?) Used by the Royal Australian Air Force
from 1964 to date. Must be a good aircraft to last that long. Served in
Vietnam. I'd say " pilot error" for this crash. They have the capability
to land and take off from ploughed fields.
