Default RAF Service, Update to website and help wanted

Did anyone attend Basic Training at RAF Bridgnorth in the August /
September of
1959, or have a relative or friend who did? There may be a picture of
you, or someone you know, in the Group photo.

My memories of the 5 years I did in "The Mob" between 1959 and 1964
have
reached the RAF Gan part, (1962). Serialised on my web site,
http://www.maribelecosystems.com (Look in Part 2 Personal Stuff) -
there is a detailed history - based on letters to my mother, during
the whole period. Encompassing Cardington, Bridgnorth, Yatesbury,
Ballykelly, Changi, Gan and St. Mawgan, there are a host of Shackleton
Stories. I was on 210 Sqn. 205, and 201. MkI, MkII and Mk. III. AVRO
Shackletons. Real Aeroplanes these.

There are lots of pictures and some of Singapore that I cannot
identify and if anyone can assist I would be obliged. Available to
download.

What was it like to be a young man away from home for the first time
40
years ago? The answer is here. Take a look and tell your friends.

Comments, suggestions, corrections and flack welcome.

Best wishes, George Bell.
