Default Ride to Denton.

Took a ride to Dallas - well Denton - the nearest easy access point to
the Metrollops. I had forgotten how crowded the roads are - the Pres
Bush turnpike was crawling because of a ONE car breakdown - and people
were driving over the grass onto the sideroad to escape the hangup.

Coming back in the crew car to the Denton FBO- I heard a redneck pilot
ask an instructor if he had any "rag-head students" - to which the
answer was "no, mostly Chinese".
Not used to hearing that kind of stuff....

100LL was $5/gall Is that a record?
