'Boots' Brathun-first cat shot in F-4 in VF-151, over rotated, so high
everybody saw his boots...after landing, packed his kit, put it in the RR with
the COD schedule on the baord.

'Mary' Hartman...had to remember the TV series.

Obviously others will join in, but in VS-24, we had..

Ltjg "Splash" Coughlin

...who was pre-flighting an S-3 one dark and stormy night, whose tail
section happened to be hanging over the deck edge in front of the
angle deck of Nimitz. (PIC - Sqaudron MO - assigned him the rear
portion of the A/C to pre-flight). He was retrieved by MWB crew in
about 45 minutes...
