Does anyone know Capt Dan who flew H300C helicopter for radio station
AM63 around 1776. I was in forth grade and he landed his helicopter in
the school yard. This was one of the reasons that I took up helicopter
flying. I'm wondering if he is still slive and I'd like to hollar at
him.

That was a looong time ago! I personnaly do not know anyone alive that
would have been there. (And I'm not sure there was radio, either).

Don't tell Sikorski or Piaseki! They think they were first to fly
rotorcraft.

Captain Dan was Dan Rosenson. Dan was out in Henderson, NV last I heard.

Dan is living in Mexico. He managed to get out of the Las Vegas real estate market at its high point, purely by accident and before the crash there. At last report, he loves living South of the Border with his wife. I get some word about him from time to time through mutual friends. I worked with him at WWDC some forty years ago, and again at WMAL in the 80s. He is quite a character.
