Default David Blaine's balloon flight shows variations of wind speed with altitude

His flight on Wednesday took his instrumented balloon up to 27,000 ft (including a transponder). His flight track shows wind variations of up to 15 kt over a narrow range of altitudes (the flight occurred during relatively calm weather conditions):

How is this different from a sounding baloon, maybe altitude control, and better published data?

Captain Obvious discovers that air moves.

Politicians clamor to prohibit aviation because of the inherent dangers to the homeless and other disadvantaged citizens.

Protestors in Portland add "air movement not in the vicinity of renewable energy wind turbines" is a part of some white privilege, racist plot.
