Default Canadian ATC aircraft designation

When talking radio trafic in Canada how do you designate your
"experimental" aircraft. In US you would say "xxx traffic, experimental
N416....etc..." In Canada you do not have the experimental category but
"amateur built". So how do you anounce yourself in a homebuilt?

"Calgary tower, Homebuilt Golf Delta Uniform Victor 25 miles
Northeast at five thousand, inbound."

We don't use N numbers; it's all letters in the registration and we
have lots of fun flying into the States. A trip a few years ago with
Cessna 180 C-FIAC through Salt Lake sounded something like this:
Us: "Salt Lake terminal, Canadian Cessna 180 Charlie Foxtrot India
Alpha Charlie 20 miles North, 5,000, enroute Provo."
Them: "Canadian Charlie Indie Alphia..." Click.
Them: "Canadian Charlia Foxtrot Alphie Ind..." Click.
Them: "Canadian 180, Maintain 5,000, stay east of the highway."
