I know this has been discussed before, would like to know what wax to use on a sailplane finished in acrylic paint. Would prefer to use one that does not require a buffer.

WX Seal and WX Block. Wings and Wheels has it in stock. Hand applying the wax is fine, but the first part is a compound of sorts, and I use little Port Cable Random Orbital buffer and a medium cut foam pad.

Probably the best product out there is German Klasse wax and sealant.

The excellent but expensive Wx Seal and Wx Block system is really designed for gelcoat, for which I can highly recommend it, although it can be used on acrylic finishes.

A good quality modern motor vehicle polish (like the Klasse that Andrej mentioned) is all you need for PU/acrylic finishes.

If you have a PU/acrylic finish, here is a good application guide for Klasse:

From what Google tells me you have to go to W&W for "the good stuff" WX/Block. Nice franchise. I wonder what Germans use on their gel coats?

I wonder if plastidip would be a good way to protect a trailer top? https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php

Poly-Lack is widely used here in Germany, easy to apply, excellent
results, long-lasting protection.

Adding a cap full to the washing water makes the protection even last
longer.

Gee, I don't know... Sure, it says, "Nano Technology" on the package, but
nowhere did I see either, "Mega" or "Turbo". How good could it be?
