There's also SpiderTracks - http://www.spidertracks.com/
I looked at this a while ago by following a banner ad on some aviation website. IIRC, the airborne unit is $2K (maybe less) and the data plan is also pretty expensive. -Tom |

DSX Safly (Safe Fly) Tracker
We use the SpiderTracks at the flight school where I work, It's
really very effective as it let's us track where the students fly (especially important for pre-private XC) and also where the aircraft are almost real-time. Not cheap but very effective. We can review logs for some time after the flight if there are any potential problems. |
