Does anyone have any idea of rental rates for a non-turbocharged 210 and/
or a straight leg 182? I'm in Socal, so any rates from there would really
be useful.

So Cal is a big place, but if you are near the San Fernando Valley,
check out Van Nuys Flight Center. Glass cockpit 182's go for $172.00
an hour. These are 2 and 3 year old aircraft. No 210's on line, but
they may have a 206 by now. Thay also have Diamond DA42 Twinstar
diesel for $295.00 an hour, if you should be so inclined.

Check this place: http://www.archerbravo.com

Search by aircraft type, area, ...

No 210s found in SoCal, but there are several 182s. Mostly in mid to
upper $100s
