Where is a good radio repair station in the U.S. for Delcom?

I agree, I don't think that they exist any longer. We had a pile of
them at the club and finally sold them off and went Icom. Too bad,
the Delcom's had a great form factor for panel mounting.

There is/was some company out of Hong Kong that was still
manufacturing them but that was a while ago and never saw anything
about service, support or sales in the US.

There are generally two things that go wrong with Delcoms;

1) The nicad battery pack dies because of overcharging. Places like
Batteries America can repair these for $30 or so or you can buy cells
with solder tabs and do it yourself.
2) The audio jacks tack a hit and crack a circuit board inside.
Moderately easy to fix if you are pretty good with a small wattage
soldering iron.

I generally council those that only want to keep using Delcoms to look
at eBay and buy some spares. I see 1 or 2 a month for sale. Search
for "delcom" and then save the search (requires an eBay account) and
have any hits automatically sent to your email account. You will get
some false hits from a medical instrument provider

Good luck.
