Default OSH from Colorado, seats available!

#Subject: OSHKOSH 2005 (the short trip) from Northern Colorado

Hi folks,

This is my Oshkosh participation "call for checks". If you want to go
to from Colorado to Oshkosh in my Cessna-206, now is the time to get
your deposit check in.

I am going to Oshkosh for the airshow. YOU are invited... I can take
up to 6 of us! First in time (with a deposit check) is first in right
for seat selection/rotation and choice of legs to fly. There are 4
legs, two to OSH, two on the return. Yes, you get to log the time...
I am a CFII!

If you are particularly interested in taking YOUR airplane, and have
a seat for me something like the Thu-Sun dates below, please extend an
offer to me!

Jer/ Eberhard

---------------------------------------------------------------------

In planning for Oshkosh. After talking with several folks, the interest
seemed to be in the "short trip", so I am cutting back from the full
week, to several days. Here is the current plan:

- DEPART FNL: Thu, Jul 28, 9:30 AM from Fort Collins Loveland Airport,
hangar B-6. Arrive AFTER the airshow. We will land out at Portage
or Wisconsin Dells and be tourists for the day, then arrive after
the airshow.

- DINNER SAT EVENING: Cessna Pilots Association BBQ dinner. I have 6
tickets at $30/each for the excellent CPA get-together at the Hilton
on the OSH airport for Sat, Jul 30. These tickets are hard to come
by, so you get one at cost by flying with me!

- OTHER NIGHT DINNER OPPORTUNITY: Jay Honeck says: "FYI" we throw a
"rec.aviation" party at our campsite in the North 40 every year.
Admission is either (a) a 6-pack of good beer, or (b) you buy a
round at Friar Tucks! Watch here for more info about it as we get
closer...

- DEPART OSH: Return departure Sun, Jul 31, 9 AM.
This depends on wx and participants.

- ARRIVE FNL: before 6 PM Sun, July 31.

- Camp under the wing of my Cessna-206, on the field at Oshkosh!

- If interested, please contact me (email) and send your seat deposit
check (Flying max cost estimate). Cost is split equally. Deposit
above cost will be refunded. Food/admission and incidentals extra)
to:

Jer Eberhard
902 Teal Drive
Ft Collins, CO 80521

Suits? (Farnham's Freehold, Robert Heinlein).

Costs are shared equally among those participating, refund if less,
bill if more. The deposit covers only the flying. Air Venture
admission, tickets, food, drink, new airplane, et.al. are extra.

Seats are available!

Who is in?
Jer/ Eberhard, CFII

These folks have declined at this time:

If you get two takers + you, what do you roughly estimate their (flying)
costs will be? Curious. I think it sounds like a fun (mini-vacation) trip.

The rec.aviation N40 party is Wednesday night. Arrive a day earlier than
planned - we'd all enjoy meeting you and your ...students. Taxi up for some
grilled fud, then grab a cold one out of the cooler.
