Default Format for stopover flight plan

Does anyone know the correct format for a stopover VFR flight plan? Many of
us often have a single flight with a stopover for fuel. I have never tried

with it and often don't understand what you are trying to do and it is
easier to just file two flight plans.

Why not just request flight following instead of filing a 2-part VFR
flight plan? If flight following is unavailable for either leg, you
could at that time file a plan while enroute. That should work to
safeguard your flight, shouldn't it?

You can file a 2 part flight plan. Just tell then in the beginning
when you file that you want to do that. I allow 15 mins between the
2. I have even cancelled in the air due to not needing to stop. when
i cancelled I just asked the to pick up my next one then. Enjoy

This sounds like a good idea. Can you give more details on how to do this?
What do you put down for destination, route, ETE, etc?
