Default Is it necessary to add a light in our ALT?

There is a question:
We produce ALT, ASI and VSI in mechanical instruments. We don't know
whether customers need a light which it can be seen at dark. Our
products are without light now.

If the design of the case and the scale allow it, you could add value by
having a lighted option.Westach sells add-on lights that can be inserted
later.

Also consider if your instruments are allowed for IFR configurations. If
they are for day-VFR only then there's little need for lights.
