Default Terminal Forecasts (FT)

I'm a bit confused about the aviation Terminal Forecasts (FT) report.
Has this report be replaced by the TAF report? On the www.noaa.gov web
site I see the TAF report avialability but I don't see the FT report
anywhere.

It was either 1988 or 89 as I recall. ;-)
