Default VOR/LOC data garmin 530

any reason for there to be NO vor/loc data appearing in the data field below
the vloc window when a vor or ils is active frequency?

It the station within range? Can you hear the identifier? I think the 530
actually decodes the morse identifier.

yes to both, was doing a vor/dme arc approach, and was disappointed to find
no data in the window, hoping it would serve as dme readout......
