Sent them a headset with problems including the covering peeling off
the earmuffs. Got it back in 3 weeks with a new volume control
complete with the phone connect and cords, new coverings for the mike,
muffs and the head band. All NO CHARGE.
Customer service the way I like to see it. cheers for Lightspeed

I've had good service from Lightspeed too, but for over $500, the
reliability and durability of my Lightspeeds has been disappointing. Mine
have been back to the shop about every 2 years since I bought 'em 7 years
ago. I fly about 70 hrs/yr... In comparison, if my car had critical
problems every 140 hours of use, it would be in the shop every couple of
months.

Wow...do you have the ANR set? I'm a pro pilot and fly between 80-100
hrs a month. I've got Telex ANR and am not particularly impressed but
not impressed with BOSE ANR either. Have Sigtronics and Lightspeed
(each in the $150 range), Telex in the $500 range, and Plantronics
with custom ear pieces at about $200. I'm still trying to find the one
that is the most comfortable and does the job with clarity. Have not
had any problems with customer service with any of the companies
listed thus far and won't hesitate to squawk if I do!
Cheers

Lightspeed Zulu...definitely the best clarity, music and comfort equal to
Bose.
