Default working for flying

I had a job as a computer unix administrator with an electronics company
near the airport. I was able to take flying lessons before or after work
as the work site was about 2 blocks from the FBO...

The company did some reorganizing and budget cuts including eliminating
funding for my position.. I enjoyed flying it was fun nad want o
continue as this may give me another avenue. I also raise poultry and
hope to eventually get big enough to be able to supply supermarkets...
and work for myself... can't get laid off if I work for myself...

-----------------

Is it possible to work at an airport refueling aircraft, or cleaning
planes so I can continue with my flight training. I am near Phoenix or
Tucson Arizona ???

Kudos for being willing to work for a dream...

Right off the top of my head, I've seen (young) people working for Angel Air
at the Stellar Airpark (P19) cleaning planes and taxiing them from their
ramp area to the fuel bay and back. I have no idea if they need anyone
right now, or not.

Anone based at CHD who knows if any of the FBOs there use "line people" or
not? I know Tailwind did not when I trained there a couple of years ago.

Good Luck,

You may not lay yourself off, but your company can always go belly up.
Then you'll be employed but without income.

Do you want to grow your own company or work for someone else?
Because if your serious about growing your own company you
won't have time to clean planes for flight time.
You can always build your company then fly for fun with the revenue
you would have made.
But if you're looking to make money in the aviation business then it will be
a long time from now before you see much above 20k.

Line people? No.
Chandler Air Service has the flight school, the maintenance shop, the
cafe and the fuel service with two trucks operated by varying
individuals. I don't know who washes their airplanes, but wouldn't hurt
to go in and ask.

The City of Chandler has a maintenance crew there at the airport also.
