SP has hit all the UL companies hard. A lot of them were dependent on

He'll be at SnF next year, I've challenged him to a taste off with my
home-brew.

Speaking of that, where were you?

Aeromart has always opened a day later than the show.

In the fly market, I did notice a couple of late arrivals of some
vendors, but there were still a lot of empty spaces.

Maybe it's just me, but I was there Mon-Wed and it seemed that
there was a lot of empy space. Instead of parking the planes back
to back they where just wing tip to wing tip. I also noticed that you
could
grow crops in the ultra light area. I was very interested in looking
at
a two seat LSA that was listed as a vendor that was a no show.
Also, the flymart had a ton of open space.
Did any of this space fill up after Wednesday? I know on Monday that
quite a few vendors were still setting up. The aero mart wasn't even
ready for customers. Great business practice for them.'

Yes, but I'm guessing that the baby is not as well built as a good homebuilt
airplane.

After all, a baby is put together with just one screw!

But if its a long one, you get a well-built baby. Short screws just
don't do the trick!

We were never closed in Vintage. I can't believe the North 40
technically closed either. I think the tower just stopped arrivals
because things got too backed up on the taxiways.

Things were wrapped up tight all the way around the departure end of
Rwy 27, clear down to Basler on Tuesday. I think they did reach
saturation.

It cleared out in a hurry, though, and by Wednesday there was plenty
of room for a "Second Wave" that never came.

I wonder what the N40 would have looked like on Wednesday had sunny skies,
everywhere, been the forecast for the rest of the week?
