I filed V7
"hoping" that I would be able to talk Chicago Approach into vectors closer inshore. Would you be comfortable on V7 if you lost comm? Jose -- The price of freedom is... well... freedom. for Email, make the obvious change in the address. |

My overwater exposure time was about 40 minutes, I have 2 transceivers,
and a handheld with external antenna connector. I wasn't really worried about lost comm. Weather was marginal VFR besides (visibility 3 miles in haze, no clouds). |
