Default New WWI Aviation Book

Age of Aces books is proud to announce a new line of aviation
fiction releases. Under an agreement with Argosy Communications we
will be reprinting some of the best fiction from Dare-Devil Aces, the
long running 1930's pulp magazine.
Dare-Devil Aces had monthly appearances by some of the most
exciting aviators to fly WWI Europe's unfriendly skies. Names like
"Smoke Wade", "the Three Mosquitoes", "the Red Falcon", and "Chinese
Brady" had fans waiting on the edge of their seats for each new
installment.
Age of Aces will be taking each of these great characters and
gathering their tales into single volumes. Our hope is to not only
introduce a new generation of fans to this exciting brand of fiction,
but also make it easier to obtain for those of us who have been
reading it all along. No more tracking down hose old, expensive,
crumbling magazines.
Our first release is "Captain Babyface: the Complete Adventures".
Written by acclaimed hard-boiled author Steve Fisher, these ten
adventures tell the story of Jed "Babyface" Garrett and his dog
"Click" the hell hound. Flying a specially built Spad with a dog-sized
rear cockpit, Garrett is assigned by the U.S. Special Agent Corp. to
thwart the worst schemes the German's can come up with. His special
orders though are to "KILL MR. DEATH". Death is an evil scientist/
pilot. Horribly disfigured in a bombing, he has sworn loyalty to
Germany and vengeance against the Allies. And the only thing standing
between him and Germany's ultimate victory is Captain Babyface.
Available now for $16.99 at Amazon.com, Borders.com, and
Target.com, this is a 6x9 trade paperback. It has been beautifully
designed by the great Chris Kalb, and features the awesome original
illustrations of master pulp artist Frederick Blakeslee.
Visit our web site for news of future releases, including the soon
to be released Volume 1 of Robert J. Hogan's "The Red Falcon".
