Default seeking info on self etching primer

Dad is restoring his 41 Taylorcraft, and we are searching for information on
what is currently popular regarding primer for the steel tube fuselage.
Self etching 2-part (epoxy) primer

comments? suggestions?

The only self-etching 2 part primer I've used is Ditzlers DX-1791/1792. Had no
problems with it so far. It has zinc in it and must be coated with another
epoxy primer before top coat. Think of it as a .2 mil thick metal prep.
