Default X-Plane v8.60 on iMac G4/1G 768MB RAM

l Have an iMac G4/1G "USB 2.0" running Mac OS 10.4.11
and 768 MB of System RAM,
and GeForce4 MX Video with 32 MB of Video RAM.
I have an "X-Plane 8.60"
it Runs OK in low resolution.
but real choppy in very high resolution.
would more RAM help out.
