$2.29/gal at Caracas International in Venezuela for domestic flights.
Increase by 30% for international flights. Jet-A is something like... umm...
20% cheaper? Something like that. Interesting comparison.

Which place did you go to? The terminal, or the little operation at the north
end of the field? As I recall, the little operation at the end of the field
was ~$1 cheaper than that in the terminal, but provided no services.
