Since there has been a great deal of talk about the president's

have the best safety record. Anyone know about this? And do you
have a web site that would verify this?

If you wish to compare them against fighters, back up a level to

and choose your a/c.

The Air FOrce Safety Center statistics page at:
http://safety.kirtland.af.mil/AFSC/R...statspage.html

Has listings for most Air Force Aircraft since 1950.
Basically, it was pretty average, for a Century Series FIghter, wich a
Class A accident rate of between 10-15 per 100,000 Flight Hours for
most of its career. That's about half as good as, say, adn F-4, and
1/3 as good as an F-15.

Note that some aircraft, like the F-100 and F-104 had really rocky
service introductions, with very high accident rates. And that the
accident rates for the earlier generation jets was also higher, as
well.
