Default anti-reflection treatments?

I'm trying to reduce the canopy reflections in my V2bx, particularly
the refletion from around the air vent at the extreme forward end of
the instrument cover. I've tried black electrical tape (a disaster)
and felt-tip pen (not very effective).

Any thoughts on effective surface treatments?

TIA,

Frank (TA)

Frank, I use black velvet from a fabric store put on with contact
cement.

It works very well, I will be at the field this weekend you can check
it out.

The soft side (loop) of black pressure sensitive Velcro works pretty
well.

I bought some black felt with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA)
backing for use in padding some things around the trailer. It would
also work well for your needs. I got mine from ... where else... The
Felt People (www.thefeltpeople.com).

Erik,

I called 'The Felt People', and was told there was a $100 minimum
order at $10/yd, So, I would have to order 10 yards! And the sales
person wasn't very interested in helping me find a distributor
either. All in all, a real downer. I guess I could cover the entire
glider and have a stealth Ventus - might get kinda hot, though ;-).

Anyone else interested in black PSA durafelt?.
