I personally prefer some pastry with pudding, since it can fill a lot. What do you prefer?

PB & J
peanut butter crackers (makes a mess though)
Wawa soft pretzel (good salt and carbs)
lollipops to keep the blood sugar high
water
gatorade (in the summer)

So, yea, junkfood.

I bring an adult meal replacement shake in various flavours, usually the high protein variant (the taste - you get used to it). You also get 8 oz/235 ml of liquid (every little bit helps). Also, a piece of fruit (apple, banana, some grapes). Also CLIF energy bars. And a lot of water.

In first class you can usually order a steak and a Cabernet Sauvignon

For Gliders - Clif Bars (oatmeal raisin, peach) and Twizzlers Bites (strawberry). Good chewing, energy, and never leaves a crumb.

For commercial airline travel please add scotch. But please remind me ... while I fondly remember scotch ... what is airline travel again?

From my student pilot days in the Air Force - A smoke, a Coke, a candy
bar, a quick barf, and go fly.

Fig Newtons. Good for energy, and they taste the same even after you've sat on them.
