Default Reading Airshow

Who here remembers the Reading Airshow and can share their memories
about what it was like and compare it to other shows of that time?

I missed it by a year, as it was discontinued shortly after I obtained
my certificate.

I remember the show well and flew in it several times myself. It was run by
Paul Doelp and was one of the top airshows in the United States. Every
vendor in the country was represented there. My memories of the show and the
people I knew from that era are both pleasant and very sad.
