These "one procedure fits all" "methods" that crop up from time to
time by well meaning people in my opinion fly directly in the face of
what is in actuality good flight instruction.
Flying takes place in a 3 dimensional arena in a constantly changing
dynamic. Although stabilization of approaches is a fine thing, it
should NOT replace correct flight instruction, which is the process of
dealing with landings in the dynamic environment where no two can ever
be assumed to be achievable using the same technique as the landing
that was last performed.
Only PRACTICE in this constantly changing dynamic we call "landings"
will result in a safe and competent pilot. Reliance on any attempt
toward the introduction of ANY 1,2,3, approach to the landing
scenario is in my opinion NOT an optimum way to deal with these
issues.
