My first post to this newsgroup was on July 11th, 2006...Not sure what
I was doing for those first three weeks.

I was arguing with someone about the effectiveness of the Super Hornet
vs the Intruder in the deep strike role.

Sure that date wasn't July 11, 1996? Otherwise your statement makes no
sense.

You remembered but didn't vote? Or were you using an alias?

Can't say I remember if I voted or not. I take from your message you
have records that I did not.?
I do recall being unsure what the value of splitting it off from RAM
would be and wondering if there would be sufficent traffic to make it
worth while.

John, to be fair I should have included a smiley face with my original
question. Yes indeed I have the official list of for and against voters.

At the time of our split the primary desire was to filter out the naval
aviation topics from the vast collection found in RAM. Guess the move
paid off as more contributions came from actual flight crew and maintainers
instead of the general public.
