...PLANE PAPERWORK UNDER MICROSCOPE
Your personal paperwork isn't the only object of the government's
security watchdogs. The FAA has announced it is going through its
aircraft registry, one plane at a time, to ensure that all the documents
are in the right place at the right time. Any registration that doesn't
meet requirements -- for any reason -- will be flagged as a possible
security threat and followed up on by the FAA. The solution for aircraft
owners is simple and that's to make sure that all the paperwork is
properly done, especially with ownership transfers and other status
changes. But AOPA also wants to make sure the FAA is not overzealous in
its review. "AOPA's concern is that aircraft owners not be branded
potential terrorists due to a clerical error or other innocent mistake,"
said AOPA VP Melissa Bailey.

Big government has to do something to cajole the masses. Got to make
them think they're being protected.

If you've got a better idea to look for "low hanging fruit", feel free
to share it. The concept of looking over aircraft registration for
possible ownership/registration glitches seems like one that could be
productive with very little effort.

Or we could just wait until some bonehead DOES pull off some terrorist
action using a GA aircraft and deal with it then...

Plan to take over world with aircraft that will do less damage than my
Dodge pickup:

Step 1) **** up the paperwork so that lots of flags are raised.

Can your Dodge pickup get past the barriers that surround federal
buildings?

Give me enough channel iron and welding rod and I'll build you a front
bumper that will brush the barrier aside, penetrate the building and
come out the other side, starting with enough speed. Alternatively, low
gearing and big enough tires ought to get him over plenty of barriers.

The war on terror would seem like a piece of cake compared to fighting a
war on rednecks. 8^)

Snipped....
I'll assume that your Dodge pickup and your Cessna 182 can each carry

enough
stuff to make a pretty large boom.

Can your Dodge pickup get past the barriers that surround federal

buildings?

The WTC was not a fed building. No barriers.

If you use your Dodge pickup to kill a bunch of people, is every newspaper

in
America going to have editorials about how Dodge pickups contribute

nothing to
the country, are the playtoy of rich white men and should be banned

because
they're a danger to everyone else?

Thats it, always accept your rulers spiel and repeat it faithfully. Never
stand up to them. Wouldn't want to draw attention. Need to be seen as a
loyalist.
Oooooh that feels gooood! Don't ya just love it when your Master pats you on
the head and rubs your ears?

is certain -- that it has either authorized such a government as we have
had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case, it is unfit to
exist."
From the Appendix, "NO Treason" by Lysander Spooner

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system,
but too early to shoot the *******s. On the road to tyranny, we've gone so
far that polite political action is about as useless as a miniskirt in a
convent."
