I was expecting to see a near miss between a C-130 and an MV-22! :-D

I did that on purpose. We had about five ospreys fishing in our lake at
once. They were dipping and diving and they don't pay any attention to the
aircraft in the pattern. I'm surprised we don't have more bird strikes.
The last one I heard about was a Blue Angel F-18 hit a bird on takeoff last
year but it didn't interfere with the practice.

We also had a beautiful huge white egret (the color is probably redundant)
flying around too. Busy day at Blue Angel Lake, Tom

You were thinking what I was thinking, especially now that we have a CV-22
at Hurlburt.

I'd never heard of skyrats before but I can see what you mean.

Good shot of the DeHaviland (I think that's what it is). Makes me want to
climb aboard and zoom on down to the Virgin Islands for some fun time
snorkeling, Tom

We have some ATC issues here on Lake Union, as well.

A skyrat realizes it really otter be somewhere else...
