Default Corben Baby Ace Model D

Who was Corben? Is he still alive? I used to own a Swift, and there
were Corben mods available for it. Cowling, dorsal fin, wing tips.
etc. . I wonder if those were made by the same Corben?

Probably not the same guy. Orland G. Corben...designed the Ace series
back in the late 1920s and early 1930s.

See Ebay. The original magazine articles that contain drawings are
available in PDF for less than $10. Worth a look.

There is also a second company selling plans for the Pober baby ace.
These two designs are apparently related. I believe wicks has
materials kits for the Pober version.

You also might like to take a look at the junior ace on the Rotec
Radial site. I think it looks like a little Stinson Detroiter. Very
cool.
