The oxygen for the passengers is not stored in oxygen form in bottles.
Remember the Valujet that crashed in Florida? It crashed when some
oxygen generators caught fire and burned the plane up. When needed
oxygen is made by mixing some chemicals. It's tremendously lighter.

Anybody ever take into account the supply of oxygen on board the jet
transport aircraft? There's oxygen for the flight crew plus an
FAA-required minimum 15 minute supply for every seat aboard the
aircraft plus extra walkaround bottles for individual use and medical
emergency supplys for several passengers. Certainly enough to raise a
very hot blaze once the bird catches fire. I used to inspect all that
stuff way back when. Parenthetically, it is a shame when unqualified
people speak about aircraft and crashes just to get some attention.
Another shame is when people spout off and use anonymity as a shield. A
good word for that is cowardice.

And ... just why should we believe these cockamamie websites? What do
they have to offer other than a bunch of Wahabbis attempting denial?

That comment comes from a closed minded idiot brainwashed by their
cooperate CNN/FOX media. A person too stupid to look at real evidence

You wouldn't recognise or *acknowledge* real evidence if it walked up to
you and smacked you right in the face.

Lighter? Is oxygen heavy?

It's heavier than air. But he meant it's lighter to use oxygen generating
cans than to store oxygen as pressurised gas in ( heavy ) oxy bottles.

See the security cam 'video'.

I worked it out ages before the 'official' investigation did. I can't
fail to see the 757 every time now.
