Announcement:
There will be a CFIG Wannabe training session on Monday January 30 2006
from 3
PM til 6:30 PM for CFIG candidates and those thinking about becoming
CFIG candidates.
This course is offered in conjunction with, but occurs before, the SSA
national soaring convention in Arlington, TX.
Location: Wyndham Arlington DFW Airport South Hotel
1500 Convention Center Drive
Arlington, Texas 76011
Triple Crown Room.
Fee for the Wannabe
session is $25.-end

I dunno, I fly one that's named after the delivery vector for many of
man's great scourges including malaria.

Why would anyone want a glider named after a disease or a body cavity?


You'll get over it when you see how nice these aircraft are, and learn
to pronounce the name correctly.


Well, yeah, but we're talking an international market here and the
marketing department (first against the wall when the revolution comes)
needs to be language/culture aware. General Motors found that out when
they discovered why the Chevy Nova didn't sell well in Spanish speaking
countries.
