Some many months ago there was a video of that glider spinning in think it
was in Germany anyone got the URL

IIRC it was a DG500. Haven't got the url anymore, though.

Hi,

Did you notice which way the wind sock was blowing?


This happened after a rope break on a winch launch which may
explain that. I do not know any details like the altitude achieved
or why he didn't try to land straight.

The pilot was not or only slightly injured.
