Default El Tiro

Can someboby please tell us whether we can get a launch
at El Tiro on weekdays, and maybe a phone number and
contact name? I have tried the number on the Tucson
Soaring Club website and left a voicemail. We could
be there in a day or two on our soaring safari.

Papa Mike,

I'm not a TSC member but when I flew out of there a year ago, tows were
only available during the weekend.

But if you get a chance to fly there, take it!

They used to operate Wednesdays. If you can find Mike Parker in the
SSA list he may be able to help you.

If not, drop in at Estrella or Turf Soaring instead. Both operations
open all week.

We fly Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.... But
Our towplanes are currently down because of engine
problems. If you have any questions you can send an
email to
