Default Air scoop for Russia

I am looking for a fast and cheap way to get/build/change/modifie
the side window to get air inside the cockpit.

I tried to google the 'Russia Club' with no luck.

Serge,

There is a Yahoo group for the Russia. Do a search for AC4 at the
Yahoo groups home.

With reference to your cooling issues. Do you have a deflector that
redirects the forward vent air towards you as opposed to sending it
straight up towards the forward canopy? Easy to make and effective.
Pictures at the Yahoo group.

Second, the removeable round bulkhead close-out directly behind the tow
hook can be removed and a few holes drilled into it for cooling air
over your lower legs. It is non structural and made of very light ply.
8 or 10 holes suffice.

Third, I have built a small scoop attached to a office style black
metal clip that clips onto the edge of my sliding window. Works GREAT!
Easy to make and can be sized according to your cooling needs.

BTW - There is a NEW dealer in the US!!! New ship sales and support.

Stick your left hand out. Cheap, effective, puts the
air exactly where you need it, retractable. Little
drag penalty at thermallig speeds, where the nose scoop
is ineffective. At cruising speeds, the nose scoop
works OK and you can close the side vent.
