Minimum Pilot Weight in a Pilatus B-4
Does anyone know the minimum payload weight for a Pilatus? The max gross is given in the manual, but there seems to be nothing for how light someone can be before adding ballast.

The minimum weight in the pilot's seat should be on the placard but ultimately, you can find out by doing a W&B. The POH should give you the max. aft CG and you can figure out what weight you need in the seat to achieve that position. Uli |

I was close to the limit at 155#. Definitely agree with the advice
to check the W&B. Adding a chute will help. At 03:49 04 October 2016, AS wrote: On Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:43:16 PM UTC-4, wrote: Does anyone know the minimum payload weight for a Pilatus? I own #310, and it has a minimum of 53 kilos, max of 97 kilos.
It has been repainted in the past. |
