Default St Louis Pilots

Well, who knows, cast bread upon the waters, leave no
turn unstoned and all that.

We are based at Spirit of St. Louis with a shadeport
lease which runs until January. Our spot is on the
more-desireable east facing side of the shadeport which
gets afternoon shade (cooler plane and less damage to
upholstry/avionics/windows) Our insurance company
considers a shadeport to be almost as good as a hangar,
as it prevents most claims for hail damage. People
install lock-boxes and store preflight and small repair
items, very convenient for partnerships and flying clubs.

We want to relocate, as we have a chance to share a
hangar a friend just purchased at another airport.

Spirit will not negotiate at all to let us out of
our lease early (while the shady side is 100% full,
there are empty slots in the sun).

We are looking for someone to sub-lease from us
(we will cut them a break). A number of people are
interested in our slot but for one or another reason
the earliest someone can take it so far is October.

If you are a new plane owner, and uncertain where you
want to base, or if you are based at Spirit on the ramp
and want to try a shadeport and see if it's worth to
you, here is your chance to do so without getting into a
year's committment.

If interested drop me an email. (please note you do need
to alter the email address, by replacing last_name with
my last name)

Thanks,
Sydney Hoeltzli
