I know Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise are pilots, but can you list any
others?

Aaron Tippin (country singer, probably best known for "Where the Stars and
Stripes and the Eagles Fly") He was a regional airline pilot for a little
while before he quit and went to country music. A guy I know in Kentucky
knows a mechanic that does his annuals (how's THAT for stretching)

Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of Iron Maiden is an airline pilot (now THAT's
a career change!)

Leonard Nimoy - used to own a twin, don't know if he still does
Michael Dorn - used to own a jet, still?
I think LeVar Burton also flies.
(for the Trekkies)

Anyone know how to get in touch with these folks? I presume the addresses
listed in the database really aren't where they live, but it would be fun

to
have pictures of each celebrity pilot in the suite, preferably
autographed...

A google search of that address suggests it's a large office building.
Presumably her doctor, lawyer, or indian chief has a suite the

Usually a lawyer's office. Avoids stalkers, et al. Also eliminates the
problem of putting the mail on hold while out of town for extended
time. And ensures the paychecks get deposited, and the bills paid.

Vincent,

Well, you're leaving a key part out from your quote:

"...
A certified true copy of the pilot's FAA medical record files were
obtained and reviewed by Safety Board investigators. ... His FAA
medical records further showed that on November 6, 1996, the FAA Civil
Aeromedical Certification Division sent the pilot a letter by certified
mail, return receipt requested, acknowledging receipt of his June 13,
1996, medical application and stating, in part:

....

The letter informs the pilot that based on the above information, he
did not meet the medical standards prescribed in Part 67 of the Federal
Aviation Regulations, and a determination was made that he was not
qualified for any class of medical certificate at that time.

...."

That last sentence "a determination was made that he was not qualified
for any class of medical certificate at that time" doesn't leave much
wriggle room now, does it?
