Anyone have a broken Comm 120 kicking around with a good gear train. I have
a broken plastic gear in my Comm 2 and am trying to avoid sending it in to
Narco.

Cheers:

I feel your pain. Many of us have had this problem. I sent mine to
Narco to be repaired along with a Nav-122. I cant remember the cost to
fix the 120 but it was ridiculous. We told them to repair the Nav-122
and to send us back the 120 as is. Of course they red-tagged it.

I called the guy in the add below and he had not nice things to say
about Narco. He said he probably could have helped if I had sent him
the radio first. He told me to check the radio for stolen parts after
I got it back from Narco. Who knows? Might give him a try.

Here's the trade-a-plane add:
NARCO... WANT IT FIXED? Call with your request. Roy Dawson, Radio
Communications, 1784 Mitchell Ct, Port Orange, FL 32128. (386)
760-7600.

I called him and he said if I could get the parts he'd install them--------

Oh well
